Biography

These absolute cats are named after the famous Bourbon Street in New Orleans, where the rhythmic sounds of jazz and blues fill the rarefied air.

Underpinned by the simple but ruthlessly effective mantra of 'it's not about us, it's about the dancefloor', The Bourbon Street Band deliver inventive arrangements of classic tunes from acts as diverse as The Dubliners, Craig David, The Smiths, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Bon Iver, The Pogues and a whole load more.

The band's party-starting excellence has seen them booked for some big bashes across the UK, including two years running at the Manchester United FC Christmas party, where they were joined on stage by none other than Wayne Rooney, who took the vocals on a rendition of 'Valerie'.
